DESCRIPTION

This 1973 Fiat 500 was refurbished and modified in the style of a Jolly model under prior ownership in Poland, and was acquired by the current owner in 2022 in Italy before being imported to the US. Power is provided by a 499cc inline-twin paired with a four-speed manual gearbox and is finished in blue with wicker seating and a Jolly-style fringed cloth top. Features include chrome bumper, side safety bars, and 12″ steel wheels with hubcaps. This 500 is now offered on behalf of the owner in Connecticut with a Maine registration document in the owner’s name.

The body was modified under prior ownership in the style of a Jolly model and refinished in its current shade of light blue. A blue and white fringed top was installed at that time along with tubular chrome safety bars and a replacement windshield.

Painted 12” wheels wear polished hubcaps and are wrapped with Debica Passio tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes.

The interior features wicker front bucket seats that were installed during the conversion along with a matching rear bench and gray carpeting. Additional interior features include storage trays and a body-colored treatments for the dashboard, steering wheel, and shift knob.

The steering wheel frames a Veglia Borletti 120-km/h speedometer. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 32k kilometers (~20k miles).

The rear-mounted 499cc inline-twin is fitted with a single downdraft carburetor, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox.
