Delivered new in Germany, this GT reportedly began life as a Porsche factory executive car before being sold to a private German owner—who later imported it to the U.S. in 1998 to Florida.  It remained in Florida until 2009 before heading West until it changed hands once more in 2016 and then again in 2023 to its current owner.  The vehicle is accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity verifying its numbers-matching status and German origin (C00).

Under the hood is the original 5.0L DOHC V8, now reengineered to deliver supercharged performance.  In 2023, the engine was pulled for a complete rebuild including new seals, gaskets, timing components, mounts, water pump, and fuel system upgrades.  A custom 1.8L Eaton supercharger kit with intercooler was installed, paired with a performance ECU tune and a high-flow fuel system.  These upgrades significantly raise output—estimated in the 450–475 hp range—while retaining factory drivability.

The car remains a true 5-speed manual GT, now featuring a Tilton twin-disc clutch, custom Hans short shifter, and reinforced torque tube bearings.  Nearly every drivetrain component—from shift linkage to mounts—has been renewed or upgraded, with only the rear CV joints and transaxle internals left untouched due to excellent condition.  Exhaust is routed through a custom X-pipe system with Gibson mufflers for a sharper tone and reduced backpressure.

Braking was upgraded with Porsche 928 GTS Brembo calipers and larger rotors, while the suspension received new shocks, bushings, arms, and a rebuilt steering rack.  The result is a balanced, capable grand tourer with the durability and precision expected from Porsche—modernized where it counts, and meticulously preserved elsewhere.

This 928 GT left the factory in Amazon Green Metallic (N7) over a special-order light grey leather-to-sample interior—an exceptionally rare combination. A full exterior refinish in 2008 was later supplemented by a professional front-end respray in 2019, followed by the application of clear paint protection film on high-impact areas.  Aside from minor imperfections such as a stress crack on the front bumper and a small windshield blemish, the exterior presents with excellent gloss, panel fitment, and preserved trim.

Period-correct 17” Augment “Phone Dial” wheels, widened to 8.5” front and 10.5” rear, maintain the classic 928 aesthetic while offering enhanced grip via Nitto NT555 G2 tires installed in 2023.

Inside, the cabin blends originality with tasteful upgrades.  The wood-trimmed 996 Turbo steering wheel complements the original Rootwood door and console accents, while custom sport front seats—with laser-etched Pascha inserts and Porsche crest headrests—provide modern bolstering.  All interior leather with exception of the steering wheel and front seats is original.  All electronics, HVAC, and power accessories are functional, and factory options include dual heated power seats with memory, a sunroof, and supple leather trim throughout.

The service timeline spans decades and showcases proactive maintenance.  In addition to the full engine rebuild and supercharger installation, the car received regular fluid services, cooling system upgrades, refreshed suspension, and updated power steering components.  Timing belts, tensioners, and water pumps were replaced during major service intervals.  Notably, the braking system, fuel delivery components, and clutch were all overhauled or upgraded within the past 6,000 mi.

Nearly every critical wear component has been addressed.  The only untouched areas—transaxle internals, rear CVs, and trailing arm bushings—were specifically left as-is due to verified excellent condition.

According to Porsche documentation, this GT was optioned with Germany-market equipment (C00), heated and memory-adjustable seats, supple leather, and an electric sunroof.  It retains its factory engine and transmission, and its combination of unique color scheme, RoW specification, and performance upgrades make it a standout among the limited-production GT models.

Offered with extensive records, its factory tool kit, spare, original parts, and a binder of documentation, this 928 GT is far more than a driver—it’s a rare, carefully built, and fully sorted example that honors Porsche’s grand touring legacy while offering modernized performance and reliability.  For collectors and enthusiasts alike, it presents a unique opportunity to own one of the most thoughtfully evolved and documented 928 GTs available.
