Development & Testing
Prior to racing, Glickenhaus rigorously tests each new vehicle to the best of their capabilities often pushing the car to its limits in order to identify and solve any issues prior to entering a competition setting. The 2021 SCG 007 is the culmination of collaborative engineering efforts by Motul, Pipo Moteurs, Podium Advanced Technologies, Sauber, Joest Racing, and Michelin - all carefully refined to work in harmony. While the majority of SCG's testing occurs through racing on the track, these early testing stages are crucial to the development of the vehicle.

Road to Le Mans
In preparation for the 2021 24 Hours of LeMans, Glickenhaus entered its new hypercar into the World Endurance Championship's Portimao and Monza races. Portimao was a tough race for SCG, finishing in 4th in class and 30th overall. While not an optimal race result, the team at SCG learned invaluable information to further develop the car for the next race. Finishing 3rd in class and 4th overall at the 6 Hours of Monza, SCG continued to refine its pinnacle vehicle for Le Mans.

Toyota GR Europe technical director Pascal Vasselon described the position of the Glickenhaus 007 LMH at the top of the timesheets at the end of the nine-hour test as "very good news" and said that the Japanese manufacturer is "happy for them and the series". |
The Race
"We finished LeMans 4th and 5th overall. For some people that would be the end of the dream, for us, it's just the beginning. Thank you to everybody that made this happen - family, friends, sponsors, our fantastic competitors in the A.C.O., and our incredible, incredible team - Thank You."
- Jim Glickenhaus, Founder/CEO Glickenhaus Racing
