​This 1996 VIN NR VAG46121717912305 230GE with 80,000 was acquired by the selling dealer from the Swiss army in 2022 and was subsequently refurbished and modified. Work included a repaint in China Blue and Gloss Black along with the installation of G63 front bumper, fender flares and W463 bodywork and lighting.


A black canvas top, a two-tone leather interior with authentic blue Alcantara carbon fiber leather seat side bolster accents and 19″ original AMG wheels were also added. Power is provided by a 2.3-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking rear differential. Amenities include heated seats, power windows, Pioneer Sound System with Pioneer Subwoofer and JBL two front speakers, a back-up camera and air conditioning. 

The body was stripped to bare metal and refinished in China Blue and Black Gloss in 2022. G63 Fender flares, running boards, daytime running LED lights, Xenon projector headlights, LED taillights, and modern Mercedes-Benz badging were also added at that time. Additional exterior features include a velcro-secured black soft top, a front bikini top, and a rear-mounted hard spare tire cover and jerry can in body matching color.

19″ original AMG wheels feature Mercedes-Benz original AMG center caps and wear Dunlop Winter tires. Braking is handled by front discs and calipers painted in China Blue to match and rear drums.

The cabin features heated front and rear bucket seats with blue stitching upholstered in diamond-quilted blue Alcantara leather along with matching side and rear panel inserts.. Additional equipment includes an air-conditioning system with a three-speed fan, power windows, center-console-mounted USB ports, and center-facing rear jump seats.

The two-spoke steering wheel features tan stitching and frames a 180-km/h speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level.
