Description:
This amazing Volkswagen Ragtop has been professionally built and restored with no expense spared. This is a one off very cool Beetle that turns a lot of heads. Originally a CA car rust free so it was a great platform to start with. The Beetle was removed for a pan off ground up build including only the best parts and materials used for the transformation. Around $28k invested into this VW Ragtop to date! To start the process the pan was completely gone through using a 70' pan and adding aselecta drop front end along with an adjustable on the fly air ride system allowing you to adjust the height of the front end as needed. Then to aid in stopping power a disc brake system was also added up front. From there the transaxle was replaced with a Freeway Flyer allowing this little Beetle to cruise at highway speeds with low RPM and no issues. The powerplant was upgraded to a 2110cc dual carb engine allowing the beetle to have plenty of power and stamina to keep up on the road with current vehicles. Just recently I have removed the engine and replaced the entire clutch system with flywheel, ressure plate, nd clutch disc. Now moving onto the body everything was professionally done by a shop in Los Angeles CA including all the metal work, ody work, nd tri stage pearl paint. The body and paint work alone have over 10k dollars invested. The interior has been completely upgraded including seats, arpet, eadliner, oor panels, nd canvas ragtop. |
